Outside reading 3

This week I've been reading witch child by Celia Rees pg 1-106. Mary Newbury is a girl in her middle to late teens in roughly 1659. She runs from the witch hunts in the countryside of england. In the countryside she lives with her grandma who's a midwife and herb woman. When the grandma is sent to hte hanging Mary is 'abducted' by her mother who takes her to london where she gets together with a puritan family sailing to America. On the boat she makes good friends with a sailor boy named Jack who's future and past she see's. She talkas about how this sight isn't a gift its a curse knowing how and when people will die. Mary is very much the normal girl, she likes boys, tries to ignore gossip and have fun.
